Reports have been received regarding bogus invoices received by email. These are ‘final demands before court action’ and threaten that non-payment will affect credit rating.

Fake invoices may appear to come from businesses you may be involved with, so the likelihood is that their IT system have been hacked and the hackers have accessed their database.

Emails such as these usually have a link or an attachment for you to respond to – NEVER click on links or open attachments as this will give the scammers access to your systems.
